Pesky Penguins mint sells out in under nine hours

Pesky Penguins opened its mint of 8,888 penguins at 0.25 SOL on October 9, 2021, after a countdown on X that morning. The earliest public-sale mint is on chain at 14:55:01 UTC and the team posted 'Minting is live' at 14:59 UTC. The closing mint is at 22:51:32 UTC, and the team announced at 22:52 UTC that it had sold out in under nine hours. The founder's 2022 history calls it a stealth launch that sold out in about eight hours.
