Magic Eden marketplace launches

Magic Eden launched on September 17, 2021, posting 'LAUNCH NOW' at 21:02 UTC. Its investor Variant says it did about $50,000 in volume on its first day. That evening (22:54 UTC) Magic Eden posted that its Alpha Release only listed NFTs from verified collections. Three days later it announced a Launchpad for creator mints.
