Aurory NFT sale mints at 1 SOL instead of 5

Aurory, a Solana game project, held its Aurorian NFT sale on August 31, 2021, announced for 5 PM Central European Time (15:00 UTC), and said that day that 10,000 Aurorians had been minted. The mint ran on Metaplex's Candy Machine v1, which opened to the public at 15:00 UTC and ran out of its 9,994 items at 15:03:39 UTC, about three and a half minutes later; the other six were minted by the team outside the sale. Aurory had announced a price of 5 SOL, but an error in the contract charged 1 SOL, which the team acknowledged that afternoon and which mint transactions confirm. TRM Labs reported a phishing 'sweep' site that drained wallets during the drop and said about 55,000 people were in line.
